Katie and Josh met in Winona, MN, went to Art school in St. Cloud, MN, got married in 2004, and make art in the Secret Basement Lab Studio hidden within the House of Stone and Rock in Eagan, MN.
Katie’s work focuses on making jewelry out of reused, reclaimed, and up-cycled materials using wood working tools - no piece is ever exactly like another. And she makes bow ties for pets because everyday is bow tie Tuesday here and sanding wood in the living room is frowned upon. Sometimes if you are special enough she’ll make you a custom crochet sculpture.
Josh’s work includes paintings and drawings inspired by his many interests including mad scientists, music, monsters, movies, comics, and art. Josh is a prolific writer and radio show host - check Find Us Here for links to his blogs and show!
